Race Meeting Report Wednesday 17th February 2021

Wednesday afternoon 17th February say an eight (8) race program conducted in very windy conditions.

The meeting saw local driver TOM ISON record five (5) winning drives at the meeting. Tom has recently returned to Tamworth after an extended stay in the Hunter Valley. Toms wins of the meeting were:

• Race 2: Christian Shannon MR 1:57.7 over 1609metres
• Race 3: It Aint Royal MR 2:00.4 over 1609 metres
• Race 4: Amused MR 1:58.3 over 1609 metres
• Race 5: Zoemagic MR 1:58.8 over 1609 metres
• Race 7: Shadow Pass NZ 1:59.5 over 1980 metres

The day's competition winners were:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: SCOTTY-JON WELSH driving ATTAHUA ACE from his own stable in race 1.

Scotty receives 1 bottle of wine courtesy The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

(a random draw from the 67 phone area trainers, who have a horse engaged in the race meeting)
