Race Meeting Report Thursday 29th October 2026

Thursday afternoon 29th October 2026 saw the Club hold a nine (9) race meeting on a pleasant spring's day, with a slight breeze and thankfully no rain.

The Meeting included:

• The 4th running of the Mike Rushbrook Memorial
• A race to celebrate the 100th Birthday (3rd Nov) of Narrabri Club and Shepherdson Family stalwart - Doreen Shepherdson

THE COMPETITION WINNERS WERE:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by KIRRA LANGELAAR driving Ten Gallon from the Ellalong stables of Michael Formosa in Race 2 the Thread Effects - Embroidery Service Pace. KIRRA receives a $30.00 Meal Voucher courtesy of sponsor The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

HAZELLS FARM & FERTILISER SERVICES LOCAL TRAINER AWARD:

(a random draw from the 67 phone area trainers, who have a horse engaged in the race meeting)
