Race Meeting Report Thursday 21st May 2026

Thursday afternoon 21st May 2026 saw the Club run a ten (10) race program on a cold and windy late autumn afternoon.

The afternoon saw the Club run Vale races for recently passed industry supporters:

VINCE BRENNAN: a Club Life Member and volunteer who was a race starter and mobile driver.

STAN LOCKWOOD: a prominent owner and fan of harness racing

THE COMPETITION WINNERS WERE:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by MICHAEL FORMOSA driving McCrikey NZ from his own Ellalong (Cessnock) Stables in Race 8 the Kudos Renos - Blake Hughes Pacing for Pink Pace. MICHAEL receives a $30.00 Meal Voucher courtesy of sponsor The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

HAZELLS FARM & FERTILISER SERVICES LOCAL TRAINER AWARD:

(a random draw from the 67 phone area trainers, who have a horse engaged in the race meeting)

This week's draw was won by trainer: BARRY WILLIAMS.
