Race Meeting Report Tuesday Evening 13th January 2026

Tuesday Evening 13th January 2026 saw the Club run the first of it's three (3) January Carnival meetings for 2026, with a seven (7) race program on a warm  summer's day.

This was the Pub Group Meeting and featured the running of The Pub Group Gold Nugget Race which was won by the Graham Dwyer (Qld) trained BETTERS MOON driven by Bryce McElhinney. The trainer was presented with a nugget which had been obtained from The Perth Mint:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by BRYSE McELHINNEY driving Bettors Moon from the North Maclean (Qld) Stables of Graham Dwyer in Race 5 the Pub Group Gold Nugget. BRYSE receives a $30.00 Meal Voucher courtesy of sponsor The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.
