Race Meeting Report Thursday afternoon 3rd April 2025

Thursday afternoon 3rd April 2025 saw the Club conduct an eight (8) race meeting on a pleasant Autumn's day. This however followed 5 days of rain with around 160mm received and the track in questionable condition at the start of the day of the meeting. However with the weather on our side and excellent work from the track team, the meeting proceeded with even a new 1980m mare's open track record of 1:56.04 recorded by the Tom Ison trained and driven ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP.

THE COMPETITION WINNERS WERE:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by ANTHONY VARGA driving Safe Jewels from the Warral stables of Tom Ison in Race 5 the Mates4Harness Ladyship Pace. ANTHONY receives a $30.00 Meal Voucher courtesy of sponsor The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.
