Thursday afternoon 17th September saw a nine (9) race meeting conducted on a dry, warm Spring afternoon, in stark contrast to the wet race meeting of the previous week.

Two Heats of the Breeders Challenge Series, rescheduled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic were held for 3 year olds with the:

Both now progress to the Semi-Finals to be held at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Saturday 17th October.

The highlight of the day was the race times on the recently resurfaced track, with all Mile Rates of 2:00.0 or less and the 3 Year Old track record over 1609metres which has stood since August 2016, broken by 1.6 seconds by MAJOR BOB in the 3YO Breeders Challenge Colts & Geldings Heat in a time of 1:55.3.
