Race Meeting Report Thursday 15th July 2021

Thursday afternoon 15th July saw an eight (8) race program conducted on a cool winter's afternoon, which followed a wet morning with 6mm of rain received, but luckily no further rain during the race meeting. The heavy track was reflected in the slower race times of the meeting.

The meeting also saw driving trebles for two drivers both of whom were returning from suspensions:

• Tom Ison - driving the winners of Races 1, 3 & 7
• Blake Hughes - driving the winners of Races 2, 5 & 6

The meeting also saw:

• The Andy Ison stable record two (2) wins with MOLLIDOR in Race 1 and OUR ROYS DREAM in Race 3.
• EVERYTHING HAPPENS from the Richard Williams Stable win Race 7 for the second meeting in a row.
• Local Trainer Greg Coney train the winner of the last race at the last six (6) Tamworth Race Meetings.

The day's competition winners were:

THE PUB DRIVE OF THE DAY: was won by JEFFERY ENKS driving GROOVY SHANNON from his father Les Enk's stable in Race 4. 

JEFFERY receives 1 bottle of wine courtesy The Pub, Gunnedah Rd Tamworth.

HAZELLS FARM & FERTILISER SERVICES LOCAL TRAINER AWARD:
