The Tamworth Harness Racing Club is conducting 3 race meetings to coincide with the 2012, 40th aniversary Tamworth Country Music Festival.
- Thursday Night January 19th: The Pub Group Gold Nugget Meeting where the main race has a prize of $8000 plus a Gold Nugget for the winning owner. Racing is programmed to start soon after 6pm.
- Monday Afternoon January 23rd: Is the running of the heats for the Golden Guitar meeting. An 8 to 9 race program commencing around 1pm.
- Friday Night January 27th: The clubs big night of the year with the running of the Final ($20,000) and consolation of the Prydes Easifeed Golden Guitar Series and the running of the Prydes Easifeed Tamworth City Cup ($10,000). A big night of entertainment which will include mini-trotters and other entertainment, with racing scheduled to commence around 6.30pm.
