The Tamworth Paceway is currently located at the Tamworth Showground in West Tamworth N.S.W. The track has a circumference of 750 metres, is 18 metres in width and has a turn radius of 72 metres. The track has a foundation of clay and granite sand, topped with a layer of black crusher dust.

The club hosts 25 TAB meetings per year with its feature meetings being held in January, these being:
- The Prydes EasiFeed Golden Guitar Series
- The Pub Group Gold Nuggett
Official Trials are held during non-race weeks, usually on a Tuesday evening from 6pm.
The Tamworth Paceway is available for training either on a permanent or casual basis and short or long term stabling is available for pacers in the showground stabling facilities. Training and stabling facilities are also available at the nearby Moonbi Recreation Ground Paceway, a registered Harness Racing NSW training facility.
In the near future a new 950 metre track will be constructed on Tamworth Regional Council land adjacent to the Tamworth Racecourse in what is to be known as The Tamworth Racing Precinct. A new Greyhound Racing track is also planned for inclusion at the precinct. It is anticipated that construction of the new paceway will occur during 2011.
