A big 10 race Carnival of Cups program was completed on a windy evening featuring:
- Prydes EasiFeed Golden Guitar Final: won by REDBELLY JACK, trained by Michael Xuereb and driven by Nathan Xuereb in a time of 2:25.8 over the 1980 metre distance, giving a mile rate of 1:58.5
- TAB Star Maker Three Year Old Final: won by ITZ GEORGIAONMYMIND NZ, trained by Mark Callaghan, driven by Todd McCarthy in a time of 2:29.0 over the 1980 metre distance, giving a mile rate of 2:01.1
- Garrards Horse & Hound Tamworth City Cup: won by IMA MYSTERY GIRL, trained by Jarrod Alchin, driven by Jason Grimson in a time of 2:56.3 over the 2360 metre distance, giving a mile rate of 2:00.2, resulting in a new track record for open age group mares over the 2360 metre distance.
