Race Meeting Report Thursday 10th September 2020

Thursday afternoon 10th September saw a nine (9) race meeting conducted on a cool, damp Spring afternoon, with 16mm of rain having been received on the newly resurfaced track over night.

Two Heats of the Breeders Challenge Series, rescheduled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic were held for 2 year olds with the:

  • 2 Year Old Fillies won by the Michael Formosa trained and driven HEAVENLY HOLY.
  • 2 Year Old Colts & Geldings won by the Rickie Alchin trained and driven WATTS UP SUNSHINE.

Both now progress to the Semi-Finals to be held at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Saturday 10th October. 

Earlier in the program Dean Chapple was proving hard to beat training and driving the winners of the first four (4) races. Congratulations to Dean on this super effort.

(a random draw from the local 67 phone area trainers, who have horses engaged in the race meeting, with a time restriction as to when the winning trainer can re-enter subsequent draws)
